Our Story
A little about Roo Gardening
Our journey began back in 2007 with Tamara, the not-so-green-thumbed visionary behind Roo Gardening. She was approached by some friends to help market an apron designed for gardening. After several home and garden shows, it became clear that the Roo apron was a sought-after tool for the yard and garden. The Roo’s popularity stemmed from solving a common challenge—the need for an extra pair of hands during yard work and harvesting.
Since then, Roo Gardening has grown (along with Tamara’s green thumb) beyond the original Roo apron to offer additional products that lend a hand in the yard, garden, and beyond.
Roo Gardening is owned by Tamara Cullen, wife to Rich Cullen, mom to four amazing daughters, and Duke, their chocolate lab. During busy times of the year, Roo Gardening is a family affair, with all hands on deck to help process orders and create fun social content. Thank you for learning more about our company.
